 This exhibit, "Inheritance", confronts the legacies underlying our lives: the histories, rituals, scars, and strengths passed down through generations. What are we burdened by; what do we preserve; and what do we dare to reinvent?

The Willow Street Gallery is a part of DC Arts Studios. The gallery's mission is to provide exhibition opportunities for artists and DC Arts Studio members. The gallery is run by a DCAS members-only committee that oversees the schedule of exhibitions, jury selection and installation. The committee also partners with guest curators to present exhibitions on visual arts, artists and art making practices. In the future, members will host workshops,                       critiques, multi-disciplinary events, lectures and artist talks.
